  1. Select the “Advanced Ticker” layer on the left sidebar

  3. Choose “Infinite” [default option] or “Spaced” below the “Preview” option

Going Live [in Producer]

Now that you've added an Advanced Ticker to your graphic, it's time to display it on screen. Once this graphic has been saved it will appear in your asset library in any production in Producer. You can drag and drop that content into your playlist and display it on your output.

With the ticker in your playlist, you can select the layer and edit the ticker from within Producer. This means you can:

  • Pause the ticker
  • Change the ticker’s  scroll speed
  • Adjust the scroll spacing
  • and more

Once you make changes, be sure to select “Update Preview” or “Update Live” in the bottom right corner to see those changes come into effect!

❓ Frequently Asked Questions ❓

Can I drag and drop text and image layers into the Advanced Ticker?

Not at this time. To add text and images to the advanced ticker, you will need to add them by clicking the “+” icon in the Advanced Ticker layer [located in the layer menu on the left sidebar].

Can I connect data sources to my Advanced Ticker?

Yes! Currently, we only support data from Google Sheets [see steps for using Sheets above]. Support for additional data sources will be added in the future.

Can I have a ‘never ending’ ticker?

There are two ticker options:

  • Spaced
    • The entire group of text and images will scroll off screen before restarting again. Thus creating space between the start and end.
  • Infinite
    • The text and images continuously scroll, like it is ‘never ending’.

How do I add additional spaces or dividers between my ticker text and images?

You can add text or images in an Advanced Ticker as spaces and/or dividers. These text and images act as dividers, breaking up the content into a digestible format.

  • Example:
    • Adding another text element at the beginning, end, or in between the content [i.e. with a static “  |  ”] divides the content into unique sets.
