This article highlights the social content per network an individual can feature through Tagboard as well as items that can prevent a post from being featured.

Content That Can Be Featured in Social Boards

Share It (direct UGC capture): Invite your audience to share images & comments directly to you, without the need to post on social

X: feature public posts with one click using Tagboard Curate or directly via the URL

Instagram: bring in public posts & reels; we'll help you discover content using #hashtag or @user feeds, or feature directly from Instagram using Tagboard Curate or the post URL. 

Threads: feature public Threads with one click using Tagboard Curate or directly via the URL

TikTok: feature TikTok videos using the URL or Tagboard Curate; control audio to avoid any issues with commercial music

Facebook: create a Facebook Feed for a connected Business Page, to feature posts & comments left on your owned posts. Note that you can only bring in content from Facebook Business Pages authenticated in Tagboard. Here's how to get your connections setup.  

Twitch: bring in Twitch comments via Tagboard Curate from any live or on-demand stream

YouTube: Use Tagboard Curate to feature YouTube videos, Live Chat, Comments, and Shorts; you can also create a Content Feed to bring in all videos from a specific user

SMS Text: Bring in text and photo messages from Heymarket using Tagboard Curate (You'll need separate access to Heymarket's platform.)

Troubleshoot Featuring Content in Social Boards

When it comes to featuring content on Tagboard, there are potential settings within each social media's privacy and account setup that can prevent content from being featured. This section walks through different areas within each social media platform that can prevent a post from being featured in a Social Board.

Threads

  • Threads posts have a 48 Hour retention policy. Content featured will be removed from the Social Board and any displays after this time. You can re-feature the same posts as needed.
  • Topics will only show as text.
  • Content may not be featured for the following reasons (but not limited to): posts are not publicly available, are age restricted materials, have copyright restrictions, or due to regulatory compliance
  • IG mentions will appear as @mentions

X (formerly Twitter)

  • X posts with multiple images or media will only display the first media object
  • Website URL previews will not show on Displays & Graphics
  • Posts that are designated as ads may not be featured.

Facebook

  • Facebook Page content must be setup through a Content Feed
  • The Facebook Page has to be within your Meta Business Account Center Management

Instagram

There are a few scenarios in which a post cannot be featured or captured from Instagram:

  • The account is a private account.
  • The account has the "Allow Website Embeds" disabled. 
  • The post has content that has DMCA content.
  • Instagram Stories cannot be featured.

There are also a few considerations to keep in mind for capturing content via hashtag:

  • The hashtag has to exist on Instagram before we can set up a feed on a public account.

TikTok

There are a few scenarios in which a post cannot be featured or captured from TikTok.

  • The account is a private account.
  • The post has content that has DMCA content that is not licensed by the creator

YouTube

A couple areas of consideration when it comes to troubleshooting featuring content from YouTube.

  • Videos have age restricted material and cannot be featured
  • Videos with copyright restrictions cannot be featured
  • YouTube videos have a 30 day retention policy. Content featured will be removed from the Social Board and displays after this time. You can find and re-feature the same posts as needed.
