Create, Publish & Go Live with a Poll or Trivia

Start by clicking the Polls tab on the lefthand side. You'll use the same basic flow whether you're doing polling or trivia, have one question or multiple questions, are using a Tagboard template or creating from scratch! We always recommend using a template to help get you started, but you have total creation control and flexibility.

✏️ Setup Your Poll

Create time-based rounds, add questions, and decide how often people should be able to vote. You can also choose between standard polling or trivia (which allows you to pick and reveal a correct answer).

🎨 Design Your Poll

• Poll: Digital experience where the audience votes
  • Open: What your poll looks like before someone has voted
  • Post-Vote: What your poll looks like after someone has voted
  • Closed: What your poll looks like when the round has ended, and the poll is no longer open for voting
• On Screen: Displays for your screen that are connected to the poll
  • Open: What your on-screen display will look like before displaying any results. This is a great initial visual to show on screen during a call to action so viewers & fans can scan the QR code and participate in your poll. 
  • Results: What your on-screen display looks like with results. This will continue to live update as people vote. (💡 This is the default setting when you go live in Producer, so it's the most important one to customize!) 
  • Final: What your on-screen display looks like when the round has ended, the poll is no longer open for voting, and a winner has been chosen.

1. Add your Poll to an existing Tagboard Page 
2. Create a new Tagboard Page to publish your Poll
3. Create an embed code to place your Poll directly on your own website or mobile app
