Custom Fonts

How to upload, manage, and use custom fonts.

Uploading a Font

When uploading a font, please be sure it matches how it is saved within Photoshop in order to take advantage of appropriately uploading PSD files with custom fonts to Tagboard.

Note:

If you don't see 'Fonts', contact your CSM or inquire about it here.

Option 1 - Uploading via Design Library

One option for uploading fonts would be to use the Design Library. Within the Design Library, you can:

  1. Bulk upload by dragging and dropping multiple assets or
  2. Choose "Upload" and pick assets one by one from your device or connected drive

Note:

TTF, OTF, WOFF, or WOFF2 font files are supported. The max file size is 5MB.

Option 2 - Uploading via the Builder

You also have the option to upload a new font directly from the Graphics builder [or any other builder].

Within the Graphics builder, select a text layer then click the font dropdown on the right sidebar. At the bottom of the fonts list is a 'Manage Fonts' button. You will be able to add a font from your device [or connected drive] to utilize right away. Uploading Custom Font via Builder

Note:

Save your Graphic Template, if you've not already done so, in order to see your custom font automatically appear in the dropdown menu. Refreshing the webpage should show your custom font if it does not automatically display.

Using a Font

Custom fonts can be applied to any and all Text layers within any Graphic, Interactive, or Social Workspace. If you've already uploaded a font, you will see it as an option in the font dropdown in the Graphic builder. Select a Text layer, then choose which font from the sidebar you'd like to apply to this specific text layer.Screenshot 2024-02-12 at 2.05.37 PM

Note:

If your CSM has already helped you apply a custom font to a text element via CSS, you will need to delete the existing text element, remove the snippet, and create a new text element to apply your custom uploaded font. The custom font field will not override the CSS.

Deleting a Font

Fonts can be deleted in bulk by holding the Command key [on a Mac] and selecting multiple assets. Then deleting using the popup options.Deleting a Custom Font

Note:

If you delete a font that is currently being used across any Tagboard element, the text will be reset back to the default font.
