Key + Alpha Options with a Tagboard Output

Looking to use an overlay graphic (lower third, tombstone, etc.) within Tagboard? There are several options as you look to navigate a chromakey, alpha, as well as key & fill. What will work best for you may depend on your setup.

Tagboard supports:
  1. Chroma Key: You can set the chroma key color in order to key out that color in your switcher. By default, Tagboard's chroma key will be green (#0f0). That can be changed to any hex color that works best with your production. This is a great option if you are using a more traditional control room, master control, or hardware switcher.

  2. Transparency: If you are using a cloud or software switcher that supports an HTML5 input source, Tagboard supports a transparent chromakey by recognizing it as an alpha channel.
    1. You can set this in Producer using the background color picker located in the bottom leftScreenshot 2024-07-30 at 11.09.48 AM
    2. You can also set this in any Graphic/Display builder
