Troubleshooting Facebook & Instagram Connections in Tagboard

Are you seeing a message that says you're connected to Facebook and Instagram in Tagboard but can't find any pages to manage or you’re not able to create feeds? Don’t worry! This likely means you have a broken token or are missing some permissions on the Facebook side. Follow these steps to fix the issue:

Step 1: Check Your Permissions

First, make sure you have the proper permissions through Meta's Business Portfolio. If everything looks good, it’s time to try disconnecting and reconnecting your accounts.


Step 2: Disconnect Your Facebook Integration in Tagboard

  1. Go to your Facebook integrations tab in Tagboard.

  2. Click the Disconnect button in the top right corner.

  3. A confirmation modal will appear — click Disconnect.

  4. You’ll be redirected back to the main Integrations tab.

Note: If you had to make updates to your Meta Business Portfolio, you can try reconnecting at this step instead of progressing to see if that has resolved your issue.


Step 3: Remove Tagboard from Your Facebook Business Integrations

  1. In a new browser tab, log in to your Facebook account.

  2. Click your Facebook avatar/account menu in the top right corner of the navigation bar (it will say “Account” when you hover).

  3. Select Settings & Privacy, then Settings.

  4. On the left sidebar, scroll to the Your Activity section and select Business Integrations.

  5. In the Active tab, you’ll see a list of apps with permissions to access your Facebook data.

  6. Find Tagboard in the list and click Remove.

  7. Confirm the removal in the pop-up modal.



Step 4: Reconnect Facebook & Instagram to Tagboard

  1. Return to your Integrations tab in Tagboard.

  2. Click Connect on the Facebook & Instagram row.

  3. Log in with your Facebook account and complete the authorization steps.

  4. Refresh the page to update the connection.



Step 5: Manage Your Pages

  1. After refreshing, you should now see a Manage button next to the Facebook & Instagram row.

  2. Click Manage to see a list of all available pages.

  3. Toggle Connect next to any pages you want to pull content from.
